‘My Wife’s a Fan’ – Alexis Ohanian Reveals Serena Williams’ Mad Love for Anime and Comics With an Adorable Dog Post

Serena Williams is quite often heard talking about her favorite fiction or amine characters. Williams is quite active on social media and likes to update her fans about her personal and professional life.

Williams has been a fangirl to She-Ra’s character for over a decade now. Alexis Ohanian Williams’ husband unveils in a recent tweet about Williams’ fiction interest.

Ohanian recalls Williams’ favorite character

Ohanian posted a picture on Twitter of his dog. He captioned the picture with “GM from Adora” On that tweet a fan commented with a gif. To which Ohanian replies “Yup, my wife’s a fan of She-Ra ”

She-Ra is a super-fictional woman character, whose real name is Adora. Williams has followed She-Ra now for almost a decade. Fierce characters or stories have always fascinated the legendary tennis player. Her likes include Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, who was the antagonist of the movie.

On the contrary, Williams’ daughter Olympia is a Disney princess fan. Olympia adores the Disney princesses and she even dresses like one on special occasions. Eventually, the mother-daughter duo doesn’t have the same taste when it comes to their favorite fictional character.

Serena Williams’ last tournaments before retirement

Coming to tennis, in the second round of the National Bank Open in Toronto, Serena Williams lost to Belinda Bencic in straight sets. Williams officially said goodbye to Canada with tears in her eyes.

Serena Williams couldn’t manage to pass the opening hurdle at Cincinnati Masters, losing in straight sets to US Open champion Emma Raducanu. Williams, 40, didn’t speak to the press, left the court immediately after the loss.

Williams’ fight at twilight is certainly understandable. Despite her limited schedule and her prodigious talent, it became difficult for her to keep up with the younger generation. Earlier ,Williams, who couldn’t play for a year after tearing a hamstring at Wimbledon in 2021 , had played just four matches in singles in the past 14 months.

Williams, who hinted that she would retire after this month’s US Open, was no match for her teenage Raducanu from Britain, who won 6-4, 6-0. Currently, Williams is back on the practice courts before playing in New York amid local fans, who will cheer for her the loudest as a legendary career will come to an end.
