Embarrassing moments are a part of everyone’s lives, even the ‘Queen of the Court’. There is no one on the planet who hasn’t experienced the gut-wrenching feeling of embarrassment. The tennis legend Serena Williams is no different in this regard. She recently talked about an embarrassing moment in her past to her fans, which left every listener with tears of laughter.

When Serena Williams was caught off guard 

Recently, Serena decided to share about an embarrassing moment she experienced she experienced in her life. She recalled the time when she had to get her neck adjusted as it was sore. However, Williams forgot to fix one small detail. As she was getting ready, Williams forgot to adjust an important part of her accessory.

“So I was thinking about some of my most embarrassing moments, and um, I was thinking about this one time I needed to get my neck adjusted. My neck was so tight, and this was like, “I need to get this adjusted ASAP”. So that guy came over to adjust me, you know, and I just was getting ready, I had my wig on. I didn’t pin it on, and I didn’t glue it on; I literally just had it on.”

As she continued, it became obvious the story would take a hilarious turn. Williams continued by saying that she kept hoping her wig wouldn’t fly off and stay on her head. But things did not go as Williams planned.

“Next thing I know, he puts me on a table, and he’s adjusting me, and I’m thinking, “Oh my god, oh my god, do not, do not, do not come off”, and he adjusts my neck, and my wig flies off. I’m just so embarrassed at this point. I’m just like,” she trailed off as she makes a hilarious face about the events that transpired. She ended with a face reminiscent of her expression at that moment.

Williams then had a surprise guest as Olympia popped her head at the end and said her mom’s full name.

Another embarrassing moment for Williams

The embarrassing moments tend to come in droves for the younger Williams sister. In October 2021, Williams shared an Instagram story which made her come off as clumsy. She told her fans that her exhaustion caused her to take one of her dog’s pills instead of her own. She further warned her followers to be on the lookout for her if she started barking.
