Japanese star Naomi Osaka is one of the most followed tennis players on the WTA tour. While we are aware of her on-court prowess, she’s also fond of off-court activities. Honestly, her success on the courts has earned her those privileges.
Osaka is currently the highest-paid female athlete. She has been spotted at basketball games and hung out with players such as the legendary Kobe Bryant and superstar LeBron James.

Naomi Osaka displays her fondness once again
Osaka and pop-star Nicki Minaj share a special bond and are often seen complementing on each other’ success through their social media accounts.. When she won the US Open 2018, she openly admitted about listening to Nicki Minaj’s songs on the loop. When Osaka became the brand ambassador of luxury brand Louis Vuitton, she received a compliment from Minaj as well.
Recently, Nicki released a new track called, “Blick Blick” and the Japanese talent was amused by it. Her fondness for the pop star is surely a special one. Speaking of the track, it has a catchy beat and lyrics to match with it.
As far as Osaka is concerned, things have not been going as per the plan. Reflecting on last season, following her Australian Open win, Osaka had a dismal time on the tour. She was out of action after Roland Garros for a couple of months citing mental health reasons.

Problems continue for Osaka
Osaka entered Indian Wells Masters hoping to turn around her season. However, after knocking out former Grand Slam champion, Sloane Stephens in the opening round, she faltered in the following round. She lost to Veronika Kudermetova.

However, she has confirmed her participation at the Miami Open. Fans are certainly hoping that the former World No.1 can return to her winning ways. We wish her the best of luck for the next week’s hard court WTA 1000 event. All eyes will be on her when she steps on the courts once again.
