

LeBron James and Naomi Osaka have been capturing the headlines of late! Recently, Osaka launched her new media company in partnership with the American superstar. However, the name of their new company caused a lot of stir on social media as it was misinterpreted in another language. Subsequently, the four-time Grand Slam champion issued a clarification to her company name, Hana Kuma.

On the tennis front, Osaka has had a quiet 2022 season. She is yet to win a title this year, with her best result being a finals appearance in Miami. Additionally, she missed some of the big tournaments, including the Wimbledon Championships owing to an Achilles injury. Recently, she spotted James wearing her merchandise.

During an event, LeBron James sported a t-shirt featuring Naomi Osaka’s logo. The basketball legend was photographed in a Nike tee from the four-time Grand Slam champion’s line of products, one displaying her ‘N.O.’ initials. Subsequently, on spotting James wearing her merchandise, Osaka reacted, saying, “This,” along with a lit emoji. She took to her official Instagram handle and posted a story about the same.

Osaka recently revealed her tight schedule going into the US Open. She will be making her comeback at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic. Following this tournament, she will play in Toronto and Cincinnati before going to New York to play in the US Open.
Osaka splits with her coach
Yesterday, the Japanese star parted ways with her coach, Wim Fissette after three years. The two had begun working before the start of the 2020 season. It turned out to be a successful one for Osaka, as she won the US Open that year, followed by the Australian Open in 2021.
