Naomi Osaka has been taking time off from the action in court. She is indulging in activities that bring her joy and a different perspective. The Japanese player attended the 13th Grand Prix Historique at Monaco. She uploaded pictures and stories on her Instagram and enjoyed her time at the event by witnessing charming old cars that were used for races at earlier times.

Enjoying a thrill with history
Naomi Osaka took to her Instagram to share her stories and a post about the event and also uploaded a story of cars racing past the track as well. The event is one in which they use old F1 cars for racing. The highlight of the event was when F1 points leader Charles Leclerc crashed an ex-Niki Lauda classic Ferrari Grand Prix car during a demonstration run.

A recuperation for Naomi Osaka
Naomi uploaded a post, including her pictures of the event, and captioned it as “lol”. The Japanese player seemed to have a great time off the court recuperating. The Japanese star is enjoying a decent run this season as she reached the finals of the Miami Open. During the European clay-court summer, Osaka could not get past the round of 32 at the Madrid Open. The player then announced withdrawal from the Italian Open because of an Achilles injury.

However, she has assured that she would be back completely healed before the French Open. She withdrew from Roland Garros last year, citing mental health issues and raising concerns about post-match press conferences, which she wasn’t quite comfortable with. This year, however, there have been relaxations by the French Open authorities to make it healthier and better for the players.
