Naomi Osaka made a much-awaited comeback to tennis. After being out of the tennis court for almost a year, the Japanese sensational announced her arrival to the sport at Brisbane International. Fortunately, she got what she had hoped for. A first-round win meant that she started her campaign on a high. However, her happiness was short-lived after she suffered an unexpected defeat in the second round.
Despite bowing out early, her fans made sure that she was bursting at the seams with positivity. After the match, fans took to Twitter to appreciate the performance that Naomi Osaka pulled out in her second-round match.

Fans inundate Naomi Osaka with positivity despite her second-round loss
Naomi Osaka did not have the perfect ending to her campaign at the Brisbane International. However, despite this, she got all the love and support from her fans. After Osaka posted on Twitter that it was a good match, her fans came in and appreciated the efforts that she pulled in. One fan came and suggested that it was great to see this fighting spirit between the two players. “What a battle. Honestly great to see you both have such a match!!!!!!!!!! Thus, the fans did not stop showing Naomi Osaka positivity even after she lost her second-round match. She will now be looking to prepare herself ahead of the Australian Open.
However, despite the loss, Naomi Osaka was hopeful of putting in the effort and performing her best at the upcoming tournaments. In the post-match conference, she talked about how she felt playing against Karolina Pliskova.

Naomi Osaka came ahead and suggested that despite the loss, she’s hopeful that she’ll get to the stage where she needs to be if she keeps putting in the work. She further went ahead to add that she wasn’t even sure if she could perform against these players a few ago and now that she played, she was confident of making it big.

“Even though it’s super disappointing today, I know that if I keep training and if I keep putting in the work, then I’ll eventually get to where I want to be,” said Osaka. “It’s kind of tough because she has such a great serve — my break points could have been better, but I think other than that, we both played really well.”
“Even stepping on the court is a personal win because a couple of weeks ago I was even doubting if I could play with everyone,” she added.

Thus, despite the loss, Naomi Osaka is hopeful that she’ll perform brilliantly at the upcoming events. However, it is only time that will reveal it.
