Being the runner-up, the Japanese sensation proved that there is still a lot of tennis left in her. Despite her loss in the final in Miami, the four-time Major champion can draw a lot of confidence from her run at the Miami Masters.

Just like one of her role models Serena Willams, former World No. 1, Naomi Osaka has also been extremely vocal about subjects concerning black people. At the 2020 US Open, she wore masks with the names of different black Americans throughout the tournament. The step was her way to show support for the Black Lives Matter protest.

Recently, Osaka uploaded a story on her Instagram about Ketanji Brown Jackson becoming the first-ever black woman to serve on the supreme court. The 24-year-old was happy to share this historic moment with all of her Instagram followers.
