Siblings have one of the closest bonds in the world. Despite their closeness, the two siblings do not step back when the chance to tease the other pops up. Serena Williams is no different in this regard. In a recent post on Venus Williams’ Instagram, the Queen of the Court found a chance to throw shade, and she did not think twice. 

While Serena was the sister to throw shade this time, Venus has done the same to her sister in the past. Early 2023 saw a feud begin between the sisters, with Queen V proactively talking about her sister and involving her elder sisters.

Venus Williams is an active social media user and recently uploaded a post on her Instagram page to commemorate the start of the weekend. In the post, Venus danced to Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, remixed by Austin Millz. She wore a black outfit and wrote the caption, “Friday vibes got me like… #Dancingwithvenus”.

Witnessing her chance to throw shade at her elder sister, Serena did not think twice. She simply wrote, “So nice that looks like last year”. Williams saw a chance to tease her sister and decided to take it without any hesitance. The two sisters have been locked in such a battle many times, and we are bound to see more.

One such tiff took place earlier in 2023 when Serena Williams uploaded a video on her Instagram talking about how her elder sister stole things from her. It began a feud that ended up with Venus Williams having to take a drastic step against her elder sister.

Venus Williams blames elder sisters

After Serena uploaded a video where she talked about specific gym equipment her sister took from her home gym, the seven-time grand slam champion took the drastic step of banishing her sister from her house. The feud continued, and Venus Williams also dragged her elder sisters, Isha Price and Lyndrea Price, into it.

After it had stretched for a while, Venus uploaded a post on her Instagram story where she said it should not have developed this far. She said that Isha and Lyn Price should have stepped in and resolved the matter between them. We eventually saw a conclusion between Venus and Serena, but it ended up becoming a moment between them that will be remembered for a long time.
