It is worth noting that Serena had a history of blood clots, and she was off her daily anticoagulant regimen due to having a baby. Immediately, she walked out of her room and found a nurse and talked to her about a CT scan and IV heparin. However, the nurse did not get her, as she thought Serena was under some sort of painkillers.
Then, a doctor performed an ultrasound on her legs, which she was not very happy with, as she wanted a CT scan. She said, “I was like, a Doppler? I told you, I need a CT scan and a heparin drip.“
Eventually, the doctor took her to do a CT scan, where they indeed found some blood clots in her lungs. Then Serena said to the doctor, “I was like, listen to Dr. Williams!“
In the next 6 days, Serena had to face several issues with her body, which put her in a difficult position. Despite that, she fought through and brought her baby home safely.
