World No1, Ashleigh Barty, has fully recovered from the hip injury she suffered at the Roland Garros. Barty got injured during her second-round game against Magda Linette of Poland and left midway during the match. However, the Australian is back from her injury and is confident of playing at the Wimbledon Championships beginning from Monday.
Barty suffered a hip injury during her second-round match against Linette and had to pull out of the game. The Aussie took a break to recover from her injury and did not play any tournament since the French Open.
However, the lack of preparation did not stop the World No1 from getting into the grass battlefield.

The Australian was a top seed at the Roland Garros but called it quits during the second round. She had also withdrawn from the Italian Open second-round match against Coco Gauff.
“Straight after Paris, obviously there was some time where we needed to digest what was going on,” said Barty to the reporters.
“We needed to get a full diagnosis. We were able to do that, which is a really crucial part of my rehab. We’ve been able to go through the rehab, do what we’ve needed to do, give ourselves the best chance to play here at Wimbledon,” said Barty. The Aussie has been doing her rehab procedures properly, in order to get back in shape.

“Now I feel like I’m fit, I’m ready to play I’m excited to play. To have an opportunity to again play main draw here at Wimbledon is certainly something that excited me and really drove me to do everything as best as I possibly could with my team to make sure we’re fit and we’re here playing,” said Barty.
Coming back from an injury is tough for athletes, especially when they are playing in such a big tournament. However, it is the mindset and the belief that makes a certain player a champion.
