Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard has been out of action for a long time. She has not competed since the WTA Monterrey Open last season.
The main reason for Bouchard’s absence for a while is her shoulder injury. She had to undergo surgery and the healing process has taken its own course. However, she has returned back to practice courts and was recently seen having a session with entrepreneur David Grutman.

Eugenie Bouchard got hit on her arm
During the knock, she got hit on her arm and it turned quite red. From the looks of it, she had come towards the net to volley and got hit by misjudging a shot. However, she did feel the pain more than usual.
Speaking on the incident, Eugenie stated, “Straight to the arm. It’s not broken but it actually really hurts. If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Never been pegged so hard in my life.”

Post that, she reached her first-ever final at the Wimbledon Championships. Sadly, she lost to Petra Kvitova in straight sets.
