Naomi Osaka teaches fans her mother tongue

The American-Japanese player is someone who has created quite an impressive list of titles in tennis. She has also created an impressive list of ventures aside from tennis and added to it recently. The four-time grand slam champion is always looking to share what she has learned with others. Now, she is sharing a significant part of her culture with the tennis world. 

The AI she voices recently saw an upload on its Instagram page where she taught her followers Japanese. She translated the words ‘excited’, ‘amazing’, and ‘cool’ and signed off with a salute, wishing good luck to those looking to learn the language. The new tennis mom translated another word in the caption of the video. Osaka wrote, “お元気ですか = O genki desu ka = How are you? ♡♡♡“.

Osaka joins hands with Meta

Osaka announced her work with Meta, a platform founded by Mark Zuckerberg, in a post. This collaboration has led to the introduction of a new AI companion named ‘Tamika’ by Osaka. Tamika is a Japanese word that means “beautiful child,” which describes the Japanese tennis player. Tamika is an anime-inspired AI. It embodies Osaka’s distinct blend of tradition and contemporary.

The former number 1 has kept her fans engaged off-court for quite a long time. Now, they’ll manage to interact with her off-court as well.
