Diving further into her political views, one can further make out that Evert’s tweets often revolve around the former American president, Donald Trump. Similar was the case a few years ago. Chris Evert gives it back to Donald Trump
Defeating Hilary Clinton, Trump won the presidential elections in November 2016 and was set to assume office in January 2017. However, not even a month after his victory, the businessman turned president made it to the headlines. Not to mention, for all the wrong reasons.
In December 2014, Trump accused many media houses of using his unflattering images. Going further, he reportedly held a meeting with numerous media personnel, asking them to restrict the use of such photos. The request opened a large room for discussions. While many came out in support of Trump, others criticized him for his self-obsession.

This wasn’t the only time that Evert came out in public to criticize Trump. Going ahead in the years, she continued criticizing the former president for his words as well as actions. Even though Trump doesn’t hold the presidential chair now, it hasn’t stopped Evert from calling him out time and again.
Walking on a similar path to Evert, her arch on-court rival, Martina Navratilova is of a similar view; Navratilova also often comes out in public to criticize Trump on various occasions. Considering the majestic aura of Evert and Navratilova, it is needless to say that the views of the two also get major backing from their fans.
