50 Cent and Eminem are one of the most recognizable and dynamic hiphop artists. The two are said to have a special bond and have supported one another in their careers. In an interview, the rapper, 50 Cent, compared his mentor, Eminem, to the tennis legend, Serena Williams.

Just as Dr. Dre did with Slim Shady, Eminem was the one, who spotted 50 Cent’s untapped talent. 50 Cent got inspired by Serena Williams ‘ success. Similar to Serena, who won the US Open in 1999 to become the first African-American tennis player to win a Grand Slam title in 40 years, Eminem defied racial stereotypes to dominate the music industry.

Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, who gained celebrity status with his songs, ‘In Da Club’ and ‘Candy Shop,’ once compared Eminem’s and Serena’s careers. In an exclusive interview, he said, “I think Em’ is like Serena Williams. There’s no particular gender or race which is supposed to be involved in things, it’s universal.”

Eminem, in the opinion of 50 Cent, has not received enough credit for his contribution to the hip-hop industry. According to him, Eminem made hip-hop more approachable, which increased the genre’s appeal. He also clarified his relationship with the star rapper. He said, “We speak to each other every other day. I credit everything that’s going with me to Em – he gave me a shot.”
