Alexis Ohanian is an ardent fan of women’s soccer. To prove his love, Ohanian became the leading investor for Angel City soccer club. The reason behind this investment is to show his young daughter Olympia about the popularity of women’s sport.

Talking about the same, Alexis wrote a moving message praising the owners of Angel City club and their unwavering resilience in establishing a soccer club. The club is co-founded by Kara Nortman, Natalie Portman and Julie Uhrman.

“Three @sevensixsevensix founders to fix inequity in soccer, so they started building! There was no shortage of haters and skeptics. But just a couple years later many of them are now trying to get tickets for @wearangelcity first season!” Alexis has been actively promoting its growth vehemently.
