So, she recently reminisced about the old days when her father Richard Williams was by her side, giving his unwavering support.

Richard Williams was infamous for attending all of his daughters’ matches. Sometimes even the opponents did not like how enthusiastically involved her father was in their matches. Unsurprisingly, right now Venus Williams misses that.

Venus Williams misses her father Richard Williams’ on-court presence

The 42-year-old tennis star might have an almost three-decade worth of experience in tennis. However, she still misses the presence of her father, especially while hitting the court. That is why the seven-time Grand Slam champion got nostalgic. Especially, because she is making her comeback at the Libema Open after a long hiatus.

She took to her Instagram story to reminisce about the good old days and shared a picture of her father cheering her. The happy viral picture of Richard Williams dates back to Serena Williams’ US Open run in 2008.
