‘Not Been That Exposed’ – Serena Williams’ Nervous Admission About a ‘Raw and Real’ Move During Pregnancy in 2017

Another bold move from Serena was a photoshoot she had during her pregnancy. Serena appeared bare on the cover of Vanity Fair. Later, the American explained what went behind her mind before the shoot.

Serena Williams spoke about her unique photoshoot

The former world number one admitted that she was initially very nervous about the shoot. However, the Serena that we know is never afraid of challenges and it was no different this time, as she set aside her hesitation and went for it. Later, after the photo shoot, the 41-year-old said, “I was really nervous about that shoot. I’ve not been that exposed, and I was unsure up until a couple of days before. But I’m happy with how raw and real it is.”

Serena Williams gave birth to her daughter, Olympia, in 2017. The 23-time Grand Slam champion had more challenges come her way as she had to endure a complicated childbirth and took a long time to recover.

Later, she continued to balance her motherhood duties with her tennis career until her retirement earlier this year. The 41-year-old played her last match in the recently concluded US Open 2022.

Serena never hesitates to protect her family

Serena has always been protective of her near and dear ones. While the 41-year-old usually ignores the nasty comments people make about her, the legend never tolerates an attack on her family. This time, she subtly responded to an attack on her husband Alexis Ohanian.

Four-time Grammy winner, Drake, recently made an unwarranted remark about Ohanian in his new track. This created a lot of buzz as, in the past, there were rumors about Serena and Drake dating. However, things didn’t materialize and Serena moved on to marry Alexis Ohanian.
