Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams, is immensely proud of his daughter. As one can see from his social media posts, no other aspect of his life lies above fatherhood. Ohanian regularly shares the special moments of his time spent with Olympia with his fans on social media. On this year’s Father’s Day, the entrepreneur wrote a tweet that drew parallels between his father and himself.

The Reddit co-founder is proud to have a daughter like Olympia. But he also has great pride in being a typical Armenian dad. When a follower expressed their happiness with the devotion Ohanian has for his daughter, he was humble. He said that he tried to emulate his wife’s father, Richard Williams. 

Serena Williams’ husband’s message on Father’s Day

As evening approached on Father’s Day, Alexis Ohanian decided to share a message with his fellow followers. While he has talked about his dad, Chris Ohanian, several times on Twitter, on this special occasion, he wrote a heartfelt tweet. However, with his usual jokester personality, he also made his followers chuckle. 

As Ohanian remembered everything his father did for him, he also noticed how his interaction with Olympia was similar to his and his father’s.

The business magnate wrote, “Any man can be a father, but not every father is a dad. I’m grateful that I had such a great role model in my dad, Chris Ohanian, who is the reason why I know what matters. Thanks for all those chores that taught me discipline; all the football tosses; and letting me tease you. I’m sensing a pattern here...”

Beaming with pride about his success at being a parent, Ohanian also talked about how he tries to emulate his wife’s father as well.

Early in April, Ohanian wrote that he asks his daughter to bring complex questions to the dinner table, and he will try to answer her to the best of his abilities. One of his followers noticed his technique. They stated how happy they were to see him act like a typical Armenian father by improving the intelligence of his daughter.

As he thanked his fan, Ohanian also said that he tries to emulate Richard Williams in this regard. It doesn’t come off as a surprise, as Richard was able to bring immense fame to his daughters while nurturing their abilities in the best way possible. As he shares more of his journey with his daughter, Ohanian has set an example for fathers around the world.
