Safina said, “The way she handled herself speaks to her strength of character, how loyal she is to her team,” Along with that, Safina also highlighted how she is quite responsible when it comes to taking risks. She also stated that if something goes wrong, she is there to take responsibility and doesn’t blame others for the wrongdoings.

She stated, “I think she changed as a person. She has found a balance where she is happy inside and isn’t struggling emotionally. Even if she loses a match, she’s still smiling and not taking it personally. She’s able to understand that she can have a bad day and still give 100% in the next match. It’s not killing her from the inside.”

Further, she concluded by saying that the way she should reach people around her shows that she has a very big heart. Just like that, a few days ago, another former world number one, Laura Robson, highlighted how her recent victory has brought out a new version of herself in front of the crowd.

In addition, she also talked about the various game developments Sabalenka has brought to her game. She stated,  “Working on that [serve] gave her belief in the rest of her game. She is moving better than ever; she’s defending better than ever. Immense pressure on your groundstrokes as an opponent.”
