Naomi Osaka is one of the most notable players on the tour. Being a former World No. 1 and a winner of four Grand Slam titles, Osaka has time and again proved why she is a player one must look up to. However, her reign is not just restricted to tennis. Apart from the sport, Osaka is also a highly-regarded fashionista. The proof of the same can be seen in her latest Instagram post.

Osaka is known for her introverted nature. However, the same doesn’t seem to reflect the same on social media. The Japanese sensation is an active social media user, especially on Instagram. She uses her Instagram to give regular glimpses of her personal as well as professional life. Yesterday, the 10th of May, Osaka took to her Instagram to put up a post. The post was a throwback video of how she spent 2021. However, with a twist.
Osaka shares her favorite outfits of 2021
Naomi Osaka is known for her over-the-top outfits. When not on the court, the 24-year-old wears some of the most out-of-the-box clothes, making her stand out from others. In her recent Instagram post, she gave a glimpse of her 2021, in the form of her outfits.
The post titled, “Not my car being cuter than my outfits Nissan I see you 👀😩💕✨ (bonus track: a late but never forgotten 2021 in outfits 😅☺️)’ featured multiple photos/videos.

Going with the caption, in the first photo, Osaka gave a glimpse of her new Nissan GTR, along with herself in a thigh-slit dress. Going ahead, she showed many different outfits she wore throughout the year.

Amongst the many photos/videos, one was also of her training sessions for lighting the Olympic torch at the Tokyo Olympics. In the video, Osaka, in a blue full sleeves t-shirt and a black lower, lit the Olympic torch and went up the podium. Amongst a lot of photos, one photo was also of Naomi Osaka in her much in-light Met Gala dress, which was co-designed by her sister.

Naomi Osaka on the tour
Naomi Osaka kicked off her 2022 season with a semifinal withdrawal at the Melbourne Summer Set and a third-round loss at the Australian Open. Taking a month-long break after the loss, she made a comeback at the Indian Wells, reaching the second round. However, she marked her presence at the Miami Open, where she came out as a runner-up.

World No. 38 is currently trying her luck at the clay courts. She kicked off her clay season with a second-round loss in Madrid. She next had to play the Rome Masters but was forced to withdraw after suffering an ankle injury in Madrid.
