Venus and Serena Williams were raised and trained by their ambitious father, Richard Williams. He understood the potential his daughters had and eventually started harnessing their talent. By the time, they were working with Rick Macci, their first professional coach, the duo had finetuned their gameplay.

The legendary coach time and again takes tennis enthusiasts down memory lane. Once again, he shared a hilarious anecdote about young Serena Williams who bothered her elder sister by utilizing one of her USPs- strength.

Rick Macci and Richard Williams both joined hands together to train both Venus and Serena Williams. Even when they were kids, Serena was more goofy and Venus was on the calmer side.

But, both the talents were brewing up and Serena made sure to make the best use of it. After having a glorious 27-year-old career, her serve is something that has been analyzed by experts because of its remarkable technique. However, it is something she always had since she was a kid. Her childhood coach, Rick Macci, took to his Twitter to share the same. He stated, “@serenawilliams always had a natural throwing motion even at age 12.”

While giving her an unusual nickname, he stated, “The Compton Comet could throw a football from the baseline over the fence.” Macci further said that Williams troubled her sister even when she was young, stating, “Typical Serena would then tell VW now go get the ball.”

Conclusively, he praised her talent and stated, “GOAT serving qualities in the oven already as a kid.”

However, it is not just her childhood coach who reminisced about her astounding serve. Apart from him, her former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou  was not shy to sing praises of her serve.

Patrick Mouratoglou hails the beauty of Serena’s serve

The French coach worked with Serena Williams for a decade before parting ways last year. He then went on to join hands with the Romanian player Simona Halep.

However, that did not make him forget about his former player who has been termed as the GOAT of tennis. He recently took to his Twitter to hail Serena Williams when asked about the most beautiful serving motion in tennis.
