Alexis Ohanian too was propagating the message of investing in the Angel City team of women’s football back in 2020, to music star Jennifer Lopez and baseball shortstop Alex Rodriguez, commonly known as A-Rod.

Alexis Ohanian tried to convince Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod in investing in women’s soccer 

He had tweeted after the news of confirmation of withdrawal of their support from the New York Mets, an American professional baseball team. Ohanian stated, “Now’s a great time to invest in @NWSL @AROD @jlo”.

He asked them to support the National Women’s Soccer League. Alexis Ohanian was the lead investor of Angel City back in 2020. Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman founded the team and Alexis Ohanian co-founded it with her.

Subsequently, many renowned celebrities invested in the team. Some of them are Julie Uhrman, Jennifer Garner, and tennis star Serena Williams. Moreover, the youngest joint owner of the team is Williams’ daughter Olympia Ohanian. Besides that, Serena Williams has vehemently promoted the football team.
