Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams, has been promoting the games of his soccer team Angel City FC massively this season. Notably, this is the very first time Angel City FC qualified in the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League).

As the leading investor of this soccer club, Alexis is doing everything he can to support women’s soccer in the United States. Ohanian recently shared a video of his stylish-looking breakfast meal, where he celebrated his soccer club’s latest triumph. 

Ohanian makes pancakes to honor Angel City FC

Earlier, the Reddit co-founder shared a post on his Instagram, where he was making pancakes. However, those were not just any pancakes, as they were specially-themed pancakes to honor his soccer club’s latest victory. One of those pancakes looked exactly like the logo or the badge of Angel City FC. The other one seemed like a happy-faced sun, which indicated his happiness over his team’s performance. 

The internet entrepreneur wrote, “Proof that not every pancake design I make turns out… That said @weareangelcity did get the W over the reigning @nwsl champs on Sunday so maybe I need to make this a tradition…”

Meanwhile, the LA-based soccer club got their second win of the season after beating the Washington Spirit by 1-0. Earlier, they started the season with a win over the North Carolina side, which was indeed a star-studded affair. In their second match, they lost to Orlando Pride, unfortunately. After winning against Washington, Angel City FC is now in second place on the league table, just below San Diego Wave.

After Angel City won their first game of the season, Serena And daughter Olympia both congratulated Alexis on his team’s success. It is worth mentioning that both Serena and Olympia are part owners of that soccer club. 

While Serena looked happy supporting the other sport, fans are wondering when Serena is going to make her return on the tour. Earlier, the 23-time Grand Slam winner announced her return to Wimbledon via an Instagram story.

A few days ago, the American legend posted a reel video where she showed a transition from a fashion model to a tennis superstar. Also, she talked about returning to practice preparing for Wimbledon on The Ellen Show.
