Just after the first round during the press conference, the former world number one tennis player talked about her daughter, Olivia Wozniacki Lee, and shared how she harbors a happy spirit regarding her mother’s comeback.

She revealed how, just before stepping out for her Montreal comeback, her daughter made a clear wish to her regarding how she would like to see her mother on the court. She recalled, “I tried to explain to Olivia’s going to play a match and she goes, “Okay Mama, I have a wish, I wish you win.” I was like, where did she get that from so that was pretty cool.”
