Although Chris’ reaction was funny, it was truly remarkable to see Nadia do that. It is worth noting that Nadia’s historic performance at the 1976 Montreal Olympics earned her a nickname called, ‘goddess from Montreal’. The scoreboard could not even show her perfect 10 scores, because it was never been achieved before.

Evert’s amazing career

While Nadia was making waves at the Olympics, another legend from another sport, Chris Evert, was also making some noises around the tennis circuit. During her career, she has had an 88.52% win percentage, which is the best in history in both men’s and women’s sports.

From her 18 Grand Slam titles, she won 7 French Open titles. Clay was her favorite surface. Also, she liked the hardcourt as well, as she won the US Open six times and the Australian Open two times.

In terms of titles, she won the second most number of singles titles in the history of the sport, i.e. 157. Only Martina Navratilova won (167) more titles than her. Meanwhile, the rivalry between Navratilova and Evert has been one of the best rivalries in tennis, if not the best. Although Navratilova has a better head-to-head record against Evert, the American tennis players won most of their meetings in the beginning.
