Eugenie Bouchard, the Canadian tennis professional, marked her presence on WTA in the 2014 Wimbledon Championship. She became the first Canadian player to reach the finals of a singles Grand Slam tournament. Further, in the same year, Bouchard made it up to the semifinals of the Australian Open and French Open. The highest level she has ever risen in those tournaments.

Though following that, her game plateaued due to injuries, and currently, she is looking for a breakthrough. However, the Canadian doesn’t believe in burdening herself with sport-related tension and keeps the balance between her personal and professional life. Therefore, with the new season on the doorstep, she has decided to give it a kick start with a new hairstyle.

Eugenie Bouchard shares her new look

Bouchard recently chopped her hair and shared her latest look on social media. She has said goodbye to her long wavy hair and from now on will rock shot ear length hair. Here are some pictures of her new hairstyle to which her own response was, “OMG Hahaha.”

The 28-year-old has a tremendous presence on social media. She has over 2 million followers on both Instagram and Twitter. Therefore, every little change she makes garners a great deal of attention.

Bouchard’s hairstyle change also received a variety of response from her fans. While some were wowed by her new bob cut, others who loved her long hair were quite sceptical.

Bouchard all set for a comeback

The Canadian incurred a shoulder injury while playing in the WTA 250 tournament in Guadalajara in March 2021. Since then, she hasn’t taken part in any of the tournaments to undergo a surgery. Earlier Bouchard spoke about testing her luck in the clay-court season, but had to drop the plan as she wasn’t ready physically.

However, now that 2014 Wimbledon finalist has recovered fully, she will showcase her skills on the grass courts of London. Bouchard, thanks to the protected ranking, will start her run in this year’s Wimbledon Championship from the main draw.
