The Race for WTA Finals is getting more and more intriguing every day. Ons Jabeur and Anett Kontaveit are still fighting for a spot in Guadalajara. There have been many memes and jokes about the neck-to-neck race. Recently, American player Kristie Ahn shared a hilarious Squid Game inspired meme concerning the race to the WTA Finals.

Even Ons Jabeur and Anett Kontaveit reacted to this funny joke, which surfed on the internet. While the race is still going on, Kontaveit and Jabeur aren’t afraid to share some laughs on social media. Moreover, Jabeur is at 3020 points in 9th position and Kontaveit is at 2881 points in 10th position.

Recently, American tennis player, Kristie Ahn shared an interesting joke about the race to the WTA Finals and compared it to the popular Netflix show ‘Squid Game’.

The picture depicted all the players who have been qualified along with players who are still struggling to get in there. Jabeur commented, “could you please tell @anett_kontaveit to back off little bit“. To this, Kontaveit jokingly replied, “hahahahhahahaha“. Clearly, there is some funny banter between Jabeur and Kontaveit.

Players who have qualified for the WTA Finals

With Ashleigh Barty not competing for the rest of the season, one more spot has been created. However, Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Karolina Pliskova, Barbora Krejcikova, Maria Sakkari, Garbine Muguruza, and Paula Badosa have qualified for the WTA Finals in Mexico.

Ons Jabeur and Anett Kontaveit are competing hard for that 8th spot. With triumph at Kremlin Cup, Kontaveit has cruised to 2881 points. Jabeur still leads at 3020 points, however, she’s been struggling with injury lately. The WTA Finals are scheduled from 10th November to 17th November in Guadalajara, Mexico.
