‘King Richard’ film to showcase Venus and Serena Williams’ childhood

King Richard is the brilliant tale of Richard Williams, who played a pivotal role in the lives of the Williams sisters. It will portray the early life, tennis careers and personal growth of the family over the years. The star attraction of the cast is legendary actor Will Smith, who plays Richard. And if early signs are anything to go by, the ‘Men in Black’ star has done a phenomenal job.

Though the film is yet to receive a theatrical release, it debuted at the Telluride Film Festival. The movie has been directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and will be released by Warner Brothers. The official release in the USA is set to be in November, but critics are already raving about the film. More specifically, they have lauded the great Will Smith for his performance, with many believing it to be Oscar-worthy.

Will Smith’s acting is generating a lot of buzz after the Telluride Film Festival. Many people believe it to be his career-best performance. One of the opening reviews read, “King Richard is love.
