The 66-year-old former World No. 1, Martina Navratilova, is quite active on her social media to raise her voice on various social and political matters. Recently, she criticized Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump for getting VIP treatment.

Navratilova stated, “Just flew back to Miami from New York and who sits in the first row but Ivanka!!! She did have to wait to go to the bathroom like the rest of us, but then was met at the gate by 4 police and 2 carts. Not like the rest of us. Our tax dollars at work”

The Nasdaq billboard in Times Square recently featured the 18 Grand Slam title winner, Navratilova, and her partner, Julia Lemigova. As a result, they were there in New York for a brief visit. However, on their return flight to Miami, Navratilova noticed  Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump in the first row. Additionally, the former tennis player stated that Ivanka Trump was getting special treatment during the flight and at the gate when they landed.

The former Czech–American tennis player, Navratilova, overcame many challenges and obstacles during her tennis journey because of her sexuality. She faced major backlash and criticism when she came out as a lesbian. However, despite receiving flak for her sexuality, Navratilova has remained focused to stand against social and political matters concerning the LGBTQ community.

The 18 Grand Slam champion has previously slammed Trump on various occasions. She once criticized Trump for his involvement in the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Series. Apart from her criticism of Trump, Navratilova has shown her respect and support for the US President, Joe Biden.
