Last year, in a candidate interview, she opened up about how balancing both family and tennis is not an easy task. As a wife to ATP star Gael Monfils or as a mother, there are a lot of things that need to be sacrificed to keep things going. She stated, “It is really difficult, because you have to sacrifice something. I want to spend much more time with my daughter, but I have work, tennis, and media activities. ”

Along with that, the 27-year-old tennis star highlighted that, after becoming a mother, tennis is her second priority, keeping her daughter in front. Not only that, she just took a seven-month break to embrace her new role as a new mother and then returned like a queen last year during Wimbledon.
