Even after becoming a professional tennis player, Sharapova’s life was never all work and no play. And in that way, the five-time Grand Slam champion discovered how to maintain a healthy lifestyle while still enjoying her favorite foods without jeopardizing her super-fitness.

Maria Sharapova shares her advice for staying fit

The five-time Grand Slam champion recently attended an event where she reunited with her arch-rival Serena Williams after almost a year. However, after attending a super fun event, the tennis star took to her Instagram story to share how, after the party, she enjoyed having a midnight burger. And wrote, “Party pooper. 12 am. Burger, Happy.”

And even after having a lot of fun at the event, the former world number one had a little question-and-answer session with her fans, where a fan questioned her, “How can you stay fit?”

To which the ‘party pooper’, Sharapova, shared her advice of being away from burgers even though she just enjoyed a burger just minutes ago. She said, “Not by eating the schnitzel and the burger and the fries and possibly a cocktail. That’s not how you do it.” Additionally, the former world number one has always focused on the importance of having health and wellness in life. 

Sharapova explains the importance of being healthy 

In 2021, a year after her retirement, the 35-year-old tennis star made an active investment in the Wellness and Health industry. At that time, Sharapova opened up about how taking care of one’s body is very important.
