Eugenie Bouchard has been out of the tour for more than a year. She last played at the 2021 Monterrey Open, where she suffered a shoulder injury. Having the urge to make a strong comeback to the tour, the 28-year-old has been training hard on and off the court.

Indulging in different forms of training, the Canadian yesterday opted to go for an outdoor run.

Currently in the American city of Scottsdale, the former World No. 5, headed outdoors for a run. As known by many, Scottsdale, being a desert city, experiences hot weather.

Heading for the run, Bouchard took to Instagram, uploading a story to tell her fans and followers about it.

Adding a hilarious touch to the story, Bouchard revealed the temperature of the city while urging the viewers to call the Scottsdale Paramedics to search for her.

She said, “Hey everyone. Happy Saturday. I’m about to go for a run. Here in Scottsdale. It is 110 degrees. So, if I do not post in 45 mins, please call Scottsdale paramedics and have them come search for me.”

Bouchard is gearing up to make a comeback at this year’s Wimbledon. Coincidentally, her best performance to date came in the year 2014, when she reached the finals of the same tournament.
