Sabalenka faced a local player, Madison Keys, in the semifinal which put the crowd against her. Now face another American, Coco Gauff, in the final. Already not the home favorite in the semifinal bout, Sabalenka will once again have the majority of the crowd against her in the final. The situation made the Belarusian beauty hope for some supporters as she makes a request jokingly in the post-match presser.
The Belarusian player just played a fantastic semifinal. With the home crowd against her and a terrible start, many assumed that she was ready to lose and the US Open would have an all-American final. But Sabalenka did not relent and will now aim to repeat the feat in the final.

She jokingly hopes that she will have some supporters in the final unlike the semifinal. Although the crowd today was against her, Sabalenka created a victory which will be remembered for years to come.
Sabalenka creates astounding comeback
Bageled in the first set and not being the local favorite, every tennis fan started imagining an all-American final. But the Belarusian player is not one who gives up easily. She fought back hard against Keys and the crowd to win the second set. The third set followed the same trajectory as it went to a 10-point tiebreaker. A comical moment ensued when Sabalenka believed she had won at 7 points.

Red-faced, she laughed it off and finished the game in her favor to move on to the final. She will now have to face another American in the final bout, where she will be looking to recreate the miracle. Who do you think will win?
