Both Venus and Serena Williams have currently taken a sabbatical from professional tennis. The 23-time Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams, suffered a major setback at Wimbledon 2021. The American was forced to retire due to a hamstring injury. Since then, she hasn’t played on the WTA tour.
