Venus and Serena Williams, two American tennis legends, have adorned the tennis courts with their iconic performances. As a result, it has always been hard for the tennis community to choose the better player between the Williams sisters. Notably, another debate among a slew of tennis fans has taken place on the online platform, Reddit.

To determine fans’ preferences between the legendary American tennis sisters, a general audience poll was posted by one of the users on Reddit. As a result, a plethora of fans has revealed which of the Williams sisters they prefer in terms of their game, personality, and overall traits.

The tennis community on their preference between Venus and Serena Williams

Numerous tennis fans joined to voice their opinions about the Williams sisters after a general audience poll was posted on the online platform. Notably, one of the fans expressed his opinion by mentioning about the movie, King Richard. The journey of the Williams family, including Venus and Serena Williams as two young girls, has been perfectly depicted in the film.

One fan talked about his preference between the Williams sisters by stating, “I love both but I’m going with Venus. She has this regal aura, so much poise and so much grace. I also love her YouTube channel. Also if you haven’t watched King Richard, you should. Amazing movie.”

Another fan sided with the seven-time Grand Slam singles champion.

He stated, “Venus. She has been in her sister’s shadow for so many years that it’s kinda overshadowed how good she was especially earlier in her career. She always seemed more likeable too and not as nasty to opponents”

A slew of other fans showcased their support for Venus Williams. Notably, another fan said, “Venus. The way she moved on court and hit strokes looked more elegant to me”

Meanwhile, some of the fans showcased their support for the 23-time singles Grand Slam champion.

Notably one of the fans stated, “I give it to Serena for the amount of success she reached, but Venus deserves respect for breaking the barrier first. Serena herself acknowledges that there would be no Serena without Venus.”

Another fan expressed his opinion while mentioning other tennis greats like Roger Federer and Andre Agassi.
