His daughter, Olympia is already an aficionado of diverse sports and Papa Ohanian couldn’t be any prouder.

Ever since the internet mogul joined its ownership group, the women’s soccer team has tasted unprecedented success and has also added some firepower to the squad. And now it looks like the American entrepreneur’s $115 million NWSL team has found another player largely thanks to his daughter, Olympia’s newfound fondness for a fictional character.

From baking various delicacies to playing different sports, the father-daughter duo has often relished some heartfelt moments together. Alexis Ohanian recently got involved in another activity as he spent some reading time with his little one.

According to the American internet entrepreneur’s recent tweet, his 6-year-old daughter was reading a children’s book when she also came across a fictional character, ‘Sue’. In a video clip on Twitter, Olympia was heard saying, “She wants to be a soccer player”.

Reacting to the same, Ohanian jokingly said, “Sue can also play for Angel City FC,” while his daughter agreed, “Yess.” The 40-year-old also added a caption to his latest social media post, “Sue’s gonna play for @weareangelcity one day! 💪⚽️”

The father-daughter duo is fairly proud of Angel City FC which recently achieved a rare feat in the top-tier American soccer league.

Ohanian’s women’s soccer club takes the top spot in the franchise valuation list

The 12 women’s teams competing in the top-tier American soccer league are currently worth a total of $796 million. This news came to the attention of the public when the NWSL released the teams’ current values in their first-ever franchise valuation list. And it is Alexis Ohanian’s club, Angel City FC that is ranked number 1 with a whopping valuation of $180 million.

Reacting to the news, the Hall of Famer and a proud investor in the NWSL team, Billie Jean King also expressed her delight on Twitter. The American tennis legend said, “Investing in women’s sports is good for business. ”
