However, it looks like he couldn’t contain his excitement and shared the moment with fans before he even made the special breakfast. Alexis Ohanian shared a small boomerang holding a packet of Waffle House Mix. The mix was in their Original Sweet Cream flavor. Ohanian posted this video with a caption that predicted Olympia’s happiness the next morning at the breakfast table. Ohanian’s confidence in his cooking abilities and Waffle House went really far when he claimed that this would be the “best homemade waffle” of Olympia’s life.

Alexis once revealed how Waffle House is an extremely personal place that he holds in his heart. Ohanian’s love for Waffle House isn’t new. It goes back to his college days when he was in the middle of a very important exam. Waffle House is, in fact, Ohanian’s inspiration for building the popular social media platform, Reddit.

Ohanian was taking his exams at the University of Virginia and was halfway to becoming a lawyer. However, when he walked into Waffle House in the middle of an exam, he got the necessary inspiration to start Reddit.
