Another former tennis pro, Kim Clijsters, who formerly competed against the Danish tennis player three times, has made a clear wager on her rival as she hopes to make a successful comeback.

Kim Clijsters weighs in on Wozniacki’s comeback 

The 33-year-old tennis player is all up for the challenge of returning to the tennis arena. And as the former world number one is getting up, she has been bagged up to be a surprise success by her arch-rival Clijsters. The four-time Grand Slam champion recently shared in an interview with Tennis Majors how she has full trust in Wozniacki for his successful comeback.

She said, “She’s a winner and she wants to win. When she gets out there, she’s not just going there because she wants to be back on tour because then she might as well keep playing the Legends. She’s definitely going there to (win). She’s in great shape. She’s a counterpuncher.” 

Along with that, she also stated that this time around she’s back to play for herself and to test herself as a tennis player. While the Belgian tennis player experienced an underrated tennis career, after having a baby, she believes that the mother of two can make things really tough for the current set of tennis players present on the WTA circuit.

Samantha Stosur, an Australian tennis giant, discussed in a podcast called the AO Show how she’s excited about Dane’s return but at the same time gave a brutal reality check. The 2011 US Open champion stated that her weaknesses might overcome the excitement of her comeback.
