‘R U Kidding Me?!?’ – Proud Mother Chris Evert Bragged About Son’s Iconic Feat With Ex-Husband Andy Mill in 2013

Chris Evert is leading a satisfying life after having an astounding professional career and turbulent romantic relationships. But amidst all that, she has been proud of the three boys she had with her second husband, Andy Mill. Even when they became grown-ups, Evert was not any less enthusiastic about their achievements. On the same note, Evert once flaunted one such achievement of her son with her ex-husband Andy Mill on a fishing trip.

The tennis star met the father of her three sons two years ahead of her retirement. Afterward, she spent 18 long years with her husband, which eventually ended on Evert’s terms.

Andy Mill made a name for himself in the skiing world. However, after facing grave injuries, he had to leave his passion behind for a quite life. But that does not mean that he did not find a new one. Mill is a renowned champion in tarpon fishing.

On one such expedition, Mill took one of his sons to catch a tarpon. And as expected, the two came out victorious. In an old Twitter post, she stated, “Ok- Bragging rights.. This is a Tarpon my 18 yr. old Nicky caught with his dad (Andy) in the Keys.. R u kidding me?!?”

After seeing the size of the tarpon, it’s clear why Evert was not wrong in claiming bragging rights. Andy Mill did not just have an interest in this. He has won more invitational fly tarpon tournaments than anyone else, showcasing his skills.

Even if it came late, the ‘Ice Maiden’ did realize her mistake. Evert has on many occasions accepted that she regrets divorcing her ex-husband, Andy Mill. However, that does not mean she lives in agony over that fact.

She has boldly accepted her mistakes, but she has never backed away from her ambition. Being the former world no. 1 with a whopping 18 Grand Slam titles, Evert once stated that marriage is not a thing for top-tier tennis players.
