If Federer’s brand is perfection, Swiatek’s is?
The 21-year-old is having a brilliant year. Earlier she won the French Open for the second time in her career. “I would say like me personally, I would like to be known as somebody who is mentally strong. The trophies are probably really important to me, but on the other hand, I don’t want to become the face of everything,” Swiatek said.
She further added, “I want to really have that balance. It’s still a new thing for me. Being like a really high-pressured person, I’m taking it step by step.”

Iga Swiatek apologized to Donna Vekic
After taking the first set easily, the 21-year-old was in trouble in the second set. Trailing 2-3 in the second set, Swiatek reached close to the nets to hit a shot. However, when the ball was on the other half of the court, she raised both her arms, which appeared as a way to distract Vekic.
