In response to this particular tweet, a fan came up with a counter-argument by saying, “It’s not womens sports. It’s WNBA. And this is another reason why men laugh. Because you showed a half-empty crowd to make your point. Men’s league would be sold out. You showed half the stadium empty.”

Ohanian credits Serena Williams for making him fall in love with sports
Alexis Ohanian said in a recent interview that he never cared about sports as a kid. The 39-year-old was initially disinterested. But he became enthusiastic after meeting and marrying Serena Williams. His appreciation for women’s sports grew as he watched Serena from the stands.
Women’s sports are underfunded and underappreciated in comparison to their male counterparts. But tennis is a game that has come a long way in bringing people together from different backgrounds.
