Naomi Osaka, the Japanese tennis professional, is currently taking part at the Miami Open. However, a few days prior to the tournament, she graced Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS party.

After securing a 6-3, 6-4 win over Astra Sharma in her tournament opener, Osaka spoke about the event in an interview and said, “Honestly that was like my first dinner event type of thing, so I wasn’t really sure of what to expect. She was really sweet and nice.”
“She is also a libra, so libra gang, but yeah, she was really humble and amazing. I think that it’s good to see someone that famous remain in their roots so well. She was really intelligent, so I think I also need to pick a couple of books as well.” She added.

Thoughts of Naomi Osaka on Barty’s Retirement
Barty’s retirement came as a shock not only to the tennis world but also sports fraternity in general. The 25-year-old ranked World No.1 when she announced her shock retirement. Even though she did not feature in any of the tournaments since her Australian Open earlier this year, retirement was the last thing people expected from her.

Naomi Osaka shared her views about the same and said, “It made me quite sad; we are not really, like I can’t say we are friends more like workplace acquaintances. But, I just really admired her for how hard she worked and just how nice she was to everyone. I kinda wanted to be more like her and I wanted to feel like how she probably feels now which is like she left everything on the court and she has no regrets.”

Naomi’s Changed Temperament
Naomi Osaka emphasised upon the fact that Barty’s retirement surely changed something in her. She herself is a very well accomplished player but is always open to changes that will make her a better player and person.
“I have kinda talking to people about it and a part of me thinks like anything thing I do from now on is like a bonus. Like I shouldn’t stress too much about my results. I should just focus on like the energy that I am putting out into the world.” Naomi expressed.
