However, she has already started her journey back to being fit with her coach. The tennis icon does not want to waste any time recovering. She wants to jump back to the professional game as soon as she can.

Serena Williams on the road to recovery
Patrick Mouratoglou posted a story and post on Instagram featuring Serena. It was clearly seen in the video that 39-year-old Williams was motivated to get on her road to recovery.
Although her movement was quite restricted due to the injury, the star was still practicing her strokes. Patrick put up a post where Serena could be seen working hard despite her limitations. They trust in the process of recovery and know that these things take time.

The American star had suffered the injury during the first round of this year’s Wimbledon. She slipped on the grass court and eventually gave a walkover to the opponent. She has a torn hamstring which is stopping her from playing professional tennis this season.

Serena was looking forward to equalling the record of Margaret Court this season. She is just one Grand Slam title behind her. Guess we have to be a little more patient in order to see Serena break some more records. This US Open marks the completion of 20 years since the Williams sisters played the mind-blowing final of the tournament.
