Sloane Stephens in the 2021 tennis season

Stephens has had a pretty poor season so far. She got off to a poor start as she lost in the very first round of the Australian Open 2021. She certainly improved her performance during the clay-court season as she ended up at the quarter-finalist at the Charleston Open 2021, semi-finalist at the Parma Open 2021, and even managed to reach the pre-quarters of the French Open 2021.

She played two really great matches at the Wimbledon Championships 2021 before losing to Ludmilla Samsonova in the third round of the Grand Slam.

Even though it hasn’t been a great year for the American player, fans still back her and believe in her. Will she be able to win her second Grand Slam title at the US Open 2021?
