After the successful completion of the grass-court season, while some are practicing for the Tokyo Olympics 2021, others have begun training really hard for the upcoming hard-court season. Interestingly, former US Open champion, Sloane Stephens, has also started her training ahead of the US Open 2021.
Sloane Stephens recently posted a video on her official Twitter handle. In it, one can see her working really hard in a gym in the presence of her trainer. She is doing some quite tough training in order to improve her physical strength and fitness.
Stephens can be seen picking and dropping a huge tire. The exercise is helpful for the leg muscles and also involves the use of the hand muscles in order to move the huge tire ahead.

Sloane Stephens in the 2021 tennis season
Stephens has had a pretty poor season so far. She got off to a poor start as she lost in the very first round of the Australian Open 2021. It was only at the Miami Open 2021 where she won the first her first match on tour this year after four consecutive losses in four different tournaments. However, in Miami too, she lost after winning the first match.
She certainly improved her performance during the clay-court season as she ended up at the quarter-finalist at the Charleston Open 2021, semi-finalist at the Parma Open 2021, and even managed to reach the pre-quarters of the French Open 2021.
