The fan-loved actor was most popular for his famous job as Chandler Bing in the superhit television series ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’ The Canadian-American was celebrated for his acting career and mesmerizing endeavors. But some of his lesser-known interests included tennis and other philanthropic efforts and American veteran Chris Evert was lucky to share a memorable moment with him – which she shared with fans.

Evert had the honor of having Perry take part in her drug-prevention tennis event. The ‘generous‘ actor had used his passion for tennis to contribute to charitable causes. After his passing, she was quick to share her respects for the late entertainer on X. Her tweet highlighted the 54-year-old’s glow, humor, and love for tennis.

Chris Evert, the former world No. 1 tennis player, had organized a drug prevention tennis event where Matthew Perry took an interest. His contribution to this event displayed his liberal soul and his devotion to having a beneficial outcome. The American’s help was not simply a VIP underwriting; he genuinely cared about the cause.

After hearing the recent news about Perry’s passing, Evert took to X to honor the late Hollywood actor. In a sincere tweet, she expressed, “RIP Matthew Perry, you were a bright light to so many. Your warmth and humor will be dearly missed.” The tennis veteran also added, “You were brave and a fighter, and will always be in our hearts. ❤️🙏.” But that wasn’t all, for she revealed how he had supported a cause that was deeply personal to her.

The American legend also tweeted, “Matthew played in my Drug Prevention tennis event and supported the cause. The conditions surrounding his demise, an apparent drowning in a hot tub, brought up many questions. A post-mortem examination had been directed, yet the specific reason for death was inconclusive forthcoming the results of toxicology tests. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the situation. They are searching for any potential factors that could shed light on this unfortunate situation.

Before making his mark in the famed US TV series, Perry had explored a different path by playing tennis. As a teenager, he dedicated himself to becoming a professional tennis player. Even one of his last tweets showcased his fervent love for the game.
