Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka is probably going through one of the hardest moments of her life. This Belarusian tennis player has been dating a former ice hockey player, Konstantin Koltsov, since June 2021. From romantic moments to receiving inspiration for Grand Slam winning, Sabalenka has always been vocal about Koltsov’s influences in her life. However, in a shocking turn of events, some tennis sources reported that Konstantin Koltsov had passed away recently.
The relationship between Sabalenka and Koltsov was never really in the dark since the latter also openly expressed his feelings for the Belarusian WTA star on the social media platform. Now that the news of Koltsov’s death has surrounded Sabalenka’s fans, they are concerned about the WTA star’s mental health.

Recently a reliable tennis fan retweeted the post of another Belarus Hockey news source, who shared Koltsov’s news with the fans. Sharing Koltsov’s photo, this source added- “According to unconfirmed information, former #LetsGoPens player Konstantin Koltsov passed away at the age of 42. Koltsov was in the United States (Miami) Koltsov is the boyfriend of the star tennis player Aryna Sabalenka.”

The tennis source who shared it added a caption, which read- “Belarusian hockey news pages are reporting the passing of former hockey player Konstantin Koltsov (unconfirmed yet), who is also Sabalenka’s boyfriend. I just hope it’s somehow untrue…”

Disappointed fans are concerned about how Sabalenka has been dealing with all this. One fan tweeted about how Sabalenka erased all of her photos with Koltsov from her official Instagram profile.

However, at the same time, they wish that this news is not true, since Sabalenka or Koltsov’s family haven’t made any official announcement. Nevertheless, Konstantin Koltsov was not just Aryna Sabalenka’s boyfriend. He was a great ice hockey player and represented Belarus at the Olympics.
