Madison Keys and Jennifer Brady share a deep bond. The two Americans are often found playing together and have been pretty supportive of each other. Currently competing at the Mubadala Citi Open, the duo faced a defeat in the quarter-finals of the tournament. However, Jennifer Brady, on the other hand, ended her singles campaign as well when she suffered a round-of-16 defeat at the hands of her doubles partner Keys.
Despite this, the two remain close friends. Recently, Brady took to Instagram to post a story that reminds many of their time in their colleges. She was practicing with her partner Keys when the incident took place.

Jennifer Brady creates a ‘group project’ memory with Madison Keys
Brady took to Instagram to post a video on her story where she was practicing with Keys ahead of their matches. However, from the serve to the point when the point was given, it was Keys who took charge and did all the hard work. Brady, on the other, was a mere spectator despite being on the court with her.
Brady went forward to post this hilarious video on her story with the caption, “When I still get to put my name on the group project”. This hilarious remark by Brady justifies all those who, by putting in the least effort get their work done.

In the same story, she went on to thank her partner Madison Keys for carrying her over this week. This indicates that maybe Jennifer was not in her best form and took some extra help from Keys to get the job done over her matches in the Citi Open.

“That Australian Open final, I went into the match and I was like, I’m not ready to be a Grand Slam champion,” Brady admitted. “Not that I don’t want it, but I was like, I didn’t know what to expect. And I was like, oh my gosh, this just all happened so fast. Making my first Grand Slam semifinal to then making my first Grand Slam final, right away. “I was like, wow, I don’t know if I’m ready yet.”
