RHOM Star Julia Lemigova Makes Endearing Confession About Impressing Wife Martina Navratilova

Martina Navratilova and her wife Julia Lemigova have gone through several ups and downs in their life. Be it battling cancer, considering adoption, or running a business, both of them have been in the news multiple times in the past. In the recent past, fans witnessed Lemigova’s love for fashion and wearing famous dresses. Now, she’s back again, reflecting her love for the tennis star.

But this time she revealed how she had learned to sing opera for her wife, Martina Navratilova. Julia Lemigova shared a post on her Instagram account where the former Miss USSR was seen making a handful of revelations.

In the video, Lemigova was seen saying, “I’m Julia Lemigova, of course, I put guava jam in my martini.” She also revealed, “I put a diaper on my goat.” Then she went on to reflect on her love for her wife, and said, “I’m Julia Lemigova, of course, I learned how to sing opera for my wife.” Further, she added, that she has dogs, cats, turtles, donkeys, chickens, goats, and cows at her farm.

Both Julia Lemigova and Martina Navratilova first met each other on the RHOM Season 4 premiere in 2000. Recalling that moment Lemigova once said, “I looked at her and gave her a look across the bar: ‘You have to come and talk to me’.” Then after exchanging their messages through their eyes, she revealed that Navratilova finally came and talked to her. But nothing worked as such at that time other than that brief introduction.

Then a few years later, they once again met each other at the French Open. This time it turned out to be a fruitful interaction between the two and eventually in 2014, just before Christmas, they tied the knot. The couple share two homes together in Miami, and Julia Lemigova also has two daughters from her two previous relationships.

Recalling that instance about how nervous she was with the relationship initially, Lemigova said, “When I saw my two girls standing up to their friends, and saying, ‘Yeah, we have two moms,’ and I saw them, and it’s like ‘Oh my god. My girls came out faster than me!’” Since then, they haven’t looked back and are often seen reflecting their support and love for each other.

A few years back when Martina Navratilova successfully came back defeating throat and breast cancer, Julia Lemigova couldn’t hide her happiness. She said, “I am so proud. I don’t even have the words to say how proud I am of my champion for playing singles against the nastiest double partners she ever faced in her life, and beating them both triumphantly. She amazes me every day.

In 2022 during an interview with Bravo’s Daily Dish, she revealed how they tried to find a balance to fit in each other’s life. “Life is about sacrifices, and I know Martina really wanted to be in our new house in Miami, which, of course, I understand — anybody would. But, my soul is with my animals, and we’re trying to find a balance where we understand, basically, each other’s needs,” said Lemigova.

Lemigova added that she is more of an outdoor person who loves to spend time at her farm with her animals. Whereas, Navratilova loves to go to the gym instead and do paddleboarding. However, Lemigova believed she’d learn and do her best to find a common goal for them in Miami, and she did it successfully.
