Tennis is filled with examples of strong rivals turning into good friends over the years. Take the example of Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova. Once starting as intriguing rivals, the two soon developed a healthy bond and became the best of friends, so much so that their bond is still unbreakable. Although times have changed, this characteristic is still very much in place, as shown by the likes of Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek earlier today. As we await the start of the 2025 season, the duo engaged in a power-packed training session.

Nonetheless, the two are looking to start afresh and have descended to the United Arab Emirates to begin their preparations for the next season.

Captioning the clip, the World Number 1 wrote, “Keeping each other on our toes.”
